ჯგუფი VITAL REMAINS შეიქმნა 1987 წელს აშშ-ში.თავდაპირველი შემადგენლობა იყო:გიტარისტები - პოლ ფლინი,ბაჩ მაჩადო,ვოკალისტი - მაიკ ფლინი,ბასისტი - ტომ სუპკოუ,დრამერი - კრის დუპონი.დემოების შემდგომ ბენდმა პირველი ალბომი - LET US PRAY გამოუშვა.ამის შემდგომ VITAL REMAINS დეს მეტალის ერთერთ წამყვან ბენდად ჩამოყალობდა.ალბომი ბენდის დისკოგრაფიაში ყველაზე სუსტია,თუმცა ჩანს ბენდის ხელწერა ბა ბლეკენდესის ელემენტები.მეორე ალბომი - INTO COLD DARKNESS შედარებით გამართული,მრავალფეროვანი გამოვიდა.ჯგუფის გადახალისება სწორედ ამ ალბომის შემდეგ მოხდა.1997 წელს ბენდში მოვიდა თანამედროვე დესის ერთერთი საუკეთესო გიტარისტი - დეივ სუზუკი,რომელმაც ბენდს ახალი ჟღერადობა,მრავალფეროვანი სოლოები და რიფები შესძინა.ამავე წელს ბენდმა რიგით მესამე ალბომი - FOREVER UNDERGROUND გამოუშვა.პირველი 3 ალბომი უფრო საშუალო დონის დეს მეტალ ბენდს მოგაგონებთ ოლდ სქულის ელემენტებით და ბლეკენდესის ჟღერადობით.2000 წელს, ბენდის მეოთხე სტუდიური ნამუშევარი - DOWN OF THE APOCALYPSE გამოვიდა ალბომმა საკმაოდ კარგი შეფასებები მიიღო,2003 წელს კი ბენდის საუკეთესო ალბომი DECHRISTIANIZE გამოვიდა რელიზზე.ალბომმა უმაღლესი შეფასებები მიიღო.დაწვრილებითი მიმოხილვა იხილეთ აქ - DECHRISTIANIZE REVIEW
